A Pandora Valentine's Day - the stories behind the designs

There is less than a month to go until Valentine's Day, which means Pandora's new launch has arrived! With a wide range of love-inspired designs and plenty of bright pops of colour, this range is an easy go-to for any Valentine's Day gifts. The design that has most caught our eye (and your eyes too as it's been quite popular!) is the sweet padlock collection - "Lock your Promise". So why padlocks? 

The Love Lock has a strong history with relationships and lovers - according to Wikipedia "The history of love padlocks dates back at least 100 years", so this design is both modern and classic in design and idea. Couples inscribe their names onto a padlock then affix it to a structure (most commonly bridges) where it can represent their unbreakable bond. Possibly the most famous of these bridges are found in Paris - the city of love. As the trend grows in strength, these bridges are being created all over the world, and while governments are expressing concern for the impact this can have on structures it definitely shows how much we adore love!
